About Us
We are Deep Dominica! We believe there is no better place on earth to freedive and we are excited to have you share your freediving journey with us. Whether you are trying freediving for the first time or are coming to train for a competition, we are certain you will enjoy Soufriere just as much as we do.
Padjen came to Soufriere in March of 2018 for one month of training and never left! She fell in love with the sleepy village and amazing freediving. Originally from Utah, USA, she says she has found her home in Dominica.
Sofi trained for her world record status in Dominica and has loved it ever since. She currently lives in Bogotá, Colombia, but comes to Dominica often to see her freediving family and to train.
Jon Fane has over 10 years of freediving experience and has lived in Dominica since 2016. If he is not out in the water, you will mostly likely find him at Soufriere Guesthouse, which he is a part owner, with his cat Pinto.
